School Dance Rules & Policies
Virtual Learning Center high school students (Gr. 9-12) can attend dances hosted by Swartz Creek High School, provided they are willing to commit to the following expectations:
Agree to follow all school rules and policies.
Respect my fellow students and the staff of Swartz Creek High School
Engage in only appropriate behavior
All VLC high school attendees must fully understand that they may be dismissed from any dance if they violate dance rules. If dismissed from the dance, no refund will be provided, and the dismissed student may lose eligibility to attend future school dances.
VLC Students interested in attending dances must complete an application to be permitted to participate in an upcoming dance. Our next event that VLC students may be eligible to attend is the SCHS Prom 2025 scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the University of Michigan - Flint Riverfront Conference Center from 7:00-11:00PM.

Students who wish to bring a guest who is also in high school , may request permission by completing the same application.
Please note that all applications must be submitted to the Virtual Learning Office for approval first and then to SCHS. All forms must be submitted to SCHS by:
Friday, March 14, 2025
