Apex Online Curriculum - Family Engagement

In our Center, we are using an online learning program from Edmentum called Apex Learning. This exciting digital curriculum individualizes learning by providing targeted support and immediately applying that learning to on-course instruction so your child can close gaps quickly and accelerate toward academic success.

Since the Apex Curriculum is web-based, your child can continue learning outside the classroom. Access English, math, science, and social studies courses to improve learning and ensure readiness this school year.

Family Engagement Opportunities:

I want to receive a student’s Weekly Progress report. How do I become a coach?  To receive Weekly Progress reports, a school staff member must add your email address to the student's account profile.

I have questions about a student's progress. Who do I contact?  The Weekly Progress report shows the name and email address of the course teacher. The teacher is the only person who can answer questions about a course and about a student's progress.

Where can I find my child’s work? Your child’s courses are listed on your homepage immediately upon logging in. Your child will click on a specific course to continue working.

Where can I monitor my child’s progress? On the homepage, view the “Grade to Date” and “Progress” sections next to the course name to view all the work your child has completed, or click on the “Activity Score Report” on the top right of the Gradebook screen.

How can I help? Consistent weekly practice will help your child grow. Encourage a structured learning schedule so your child can gain academic skills at their own pace.
