SWARTZ CREEK VIRTUAL LEARNING CENTER ADULT EDUCATION

Our program is the ideal option for adults who wish to complete their requirements for a high school diploma, GED, Career Skill Development. In addition to providing the opportunity for adults to achieve their GED or HSC, we strive to strengthen student's employability skills and prepare them for success in the job market.

Our Adult Education Programs are geared toward all adults no matter where you are in life.  We are open 5 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 7:00 am-3:00 pm, Wednesday 7:00 am-8:00 pm, and Friday morning 7:00 am-11:00 am. We support you in high school completion or GED.

• Ages 18 and up

 In partnership with the Flint Genesee Intermediate School District, we offer a Skills to Earn certification program. Students enrolled in the Adult Education program have the opportunity to take advantage of these certification programs.

 Our goal is to:

·        Provide individualized and flexible learning options to help students achieve success.

·        Guide students to set priorities and plan to accomplish them, working with our Navigator and team members.

·        Encourage students to emerge as critical thinkers, solve problems and adapt to changes around them.

·        Foster and strengthen.

·        Laying the foundation - focus on attitude, business etiquette and communication.

·        Job Search preparation – Includes resume development and job application.

·        Interview preparation – emphasizes types of interviews, skills assessments, and role playing.

·        Keeping a job – focuses on dependability, ethics, teamwork and sphere of influence, employability skills.

Admission requirements adults who are 18 and over and have not earned a high school diploma and are not enrolled in a high school program are eligible to enroll free of charge. We want your experience with us to be educationally encountering and personally enriching. we admire your step into the life-long learning process, and we are here to help class times: Monday: 8:00 am-7:00 pm Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 am-3:00 pm Wednesday: 7:00 am - 8:00 pm

1.      Click the school tab.

2.      Click the Virtual Learning Center.

3.      Click the Adult Voyager Program to fill out the two buttons titled Application and Adult Learning Plan.
